Pitfield & Associates commenced operations in Sacramento, CA, USA in 1990 and expanded operations into Sydney, NSW, Australia in 2006.

PandA staff have over 180 years combined experience in the elevator industry, almost all with "hands on" experience.

PandA employees include qualified Engineers, ex-Government inspectors, specialist Hazard & Risk personnel and ex-equipment liaison officers. PandA (in Australia) employs a specialist Code Consultant who sits on the Australian Standards Lift Code (AS1735) ME4 Committee and is Executive Director of the Australian Elevator Association (AEA). Another employee is an active member of the Australian Elevator Association (AEA) Technical Committee.
